The Salvation Army Mission Statement
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

We are committed to transforming lives with courage and innovation, empowered by Holy Faith.
OUR PURPOSE
The Women’s Auxiliary of Orange County is passionate about supporting the work of The Salvation Army. Our members are blessed each time they donate or volunteer to bring women and children hope, peace, and the knowledge that they are loved by our Lord Jesus Christ. From social services, anti-trafficking services, family services, and seasonal programs, the Women’s Auxiliary is an organization that effectively supports the accomplishments of The Salvation Army.

It is the purpose of the auxiliary to assist The Salvation Army in connection with a particular part or of all of the programs carried on at the Southern California headquarters. The women of the auxiliary work in cooperation with the advisory board, and in connection with all Salvation Army activities in the community. The auxiliary is not independent of The Salvation Army.
The business of the Women’s Auxiliary is conducted by an Executive Committee of volunteers, and follows the By-Laws representing the Southern California Western Territory Corporate Headquarters and the National Headquarters. The auxiliary is responsible to The Salvation Army corporation; and is not a separate legal entity nor an organization with administrative authority.
Most of all, the auxiliary is blessed with women who give their time and efforts, donations, and love to help others in need. This is the personal joy for each member of our auxiliary, and we hope you will join in this mission of meeting humanity wherever there is a need.
